Discussion on Feminist Art

On Thursday, March 10th from 6pm to 7:30pm in the HCC Digital Auditorium, Claudia Volpe, Myrtis Bedolla, Ify Chiejina, Ashe Laughlin, Suzie Kim, Caliyah Ash, Maya Kirkpatrick, and Sophia Maldonado will discuss the history of Feminist art and highlight the works of African American female artists included in the ongoing exhibition.

Dan Finnegan – Potter

Dan Finnegan’s solo show was exhibited in duPont Gallery from October 28 to December 5, 2021. The Opening Reception was on October 28 from 5pm to 7pm. His Artist Lecture was located in the HCC Auditorium and via Zoom on October 29 at 12pm. You can download the recording of Dan’s lecture HERE

Private Domain: Virginia Derryberry

This exhibition featured works by Virginia Derryberry in Ridderhof Martin Gallery from September 2 to October 10, 2021. The Opening Reception was on September 2 from 5pm to 7pm.  Virginia also gave an Artist Lecture on September 3 at 12pm in the HCC Auditorium.

ASAE Juror Talk on Color Theory

Professor and author Aaron Fine will be speaking in the HCC Digital Auditorium on Thursday, March 17th, at 5pm.  Aaron Fine teaches drawing, painting, and history of design at Truman State University.  In addition to teaching and writing, he exhibits his artwork regularly in solo and group shows.
