The University of Mary Washington Galleries, comprised of Ridderhof Martin Gallery and duPont Gallery, are dedicated to advancing the educational goals of the University through the collection, preservation, exhibition, and interpretation of works of art.
The Galleries promote arts education on campus and in the local community, hosting 3 to 4 rotating exhibitions per semester featuring artwork by national and international artists as well as students and faculty.
The UMW Galleries are closed for Winter Break but will reopen with two new exhibitions on January 20, 2026. Please visit the Hurley Convergence Gallery to see Heart for the Arts: The Grellet Simpson Collection, curated by our Fall 2025 interns!
