Join the UMW Galleries for a talk with artist and curator Carole Garmon on Thursday, March 13th at 5pm in duPont Gallery. Garmon will discuss the artists and works in the exhibition The Class: If You’re Asking the Question, You Already Know the Answer.
The Class: If You’re Asking the Question, You Already Know the Answer brings together pieces from twenty-four artists – former students, most of whom are UMW alumni. The exhibition showcases the legacy of Garmon’s 25 years of instruction and the compelling work that graduates continue to create as they shape the contemporary art world. This exhibition is co-curated by Shanna Aberle, UMW Class of 2024.
