This was the first in a series of spring exhibitions that will showcase art from the Permanent Collection of the University of Mary Washington Galleries. This exhibition takes a particular viewpoint on the collection. It explores the psychoanalytical subject matter of many of the works in the permanent collection that exemplify a general interest in psychoanalytical content in the art of Mid-Century America.
